A rebellion cannot be successful unless there is hope in sight. In Animal Farm, by George Orwell, The Beasts Of England was the hope of a better society, but as Squealer generously explained, “that society has been established...clearly [The Beasts of England] has no...purpose” (88). Starting at the beginning of the rebellion, The Beasts of England, was what had inspired them to continue on in their fight for a greater tomorrow. History has shown that once the hope, and the inspiration was gone, so is the fight for freedom. The human race needs hope in order to carry on.
