There are many people in the world who believe that the traditional schooling system is not the best way to educate today's youth. According to many educators, happiness, exercise, and healthiness are the best ways to cultivate learning (Hack Schooling). If students are happy, they will be more willing to learn because it will promote a fun environment. Exercise, although it seems odd, is a great way to gain new knowledge because movement produces the BDNF protein, which enhances brain abilities, pushing learning to the limit. Although, other people believe that it is better to have children sit at a desk and listen to a teacher for several hours straight (Brain Rules #1). Claiming that this keeps children under control and allows them to soak in the knowledge may, or may not be true. But this also tends to cause children to face a bigger problem-boredom; and if a child is bored, they are not going to retain any knowledge. Education is a major part of life, and it really is up for debate the proper way to do it.
