Today I footed the cup that I threw yesterday and I also threw the final cup in my set of three. I put two things on the bisque cart today.

Today I footed my first cup in my set of three handless cups, along with a plate for my set of two plates. both of these are a mix of seamix and vashon orange clay. On the plate I did a double foot ring. I also threw my second cup for my set, which is bigger than the first. Lastly, I glazed my first bowl and my tall vase -- I still have one bowl in the bisque kiln.
Today I footed my bowl #2. This bowl was hard to foot because the clay was still pretty soft, so I like how the foot turned out. I like this foot because it sits nicely on the table, which is something that I needed to work on.
Today I put my first bowl on the bisque cart, and I have my tall project in the bisque kiln currently. Today I threw my second bowl and that is shown below. This bowl was better than my others because I was able to trim the lip with the pin tool.
Today Cara and I started our frankenpot since we were both absent when everyone else made theirs. I made the base of the frankenpot, and Cara used the tools to make her cylinder a similar width. The final product is shown below.
Today Ms. H helped me with a bowl that I threw, showing my how to 'end' the bowl properly. The bowl is shown below!
Today I put my vase on the bisque cart! My bowl also came out of the kiln, expect I don't think I like the glaze so I threw a different bowl.
Today I glazed a bowl and I trimmed the bottom of my vase with a left handed #7 tool. My vase is now in a bag in the cupboard, and I am hoping that it does not dry out too much over Spring Break! This is my best vase so far.
I was absent Tuesday-Thursday this week so my group is making our Frankenpot after break! I also need to make two bowls after break, but I have already made my tall project, it just needs to be footed.
Today I threw a large bowl. I think I am going to throw a few others and turn in the best ones for my bowl #3 and bowl #4. This bowl is the biggest one that I have thrown so far, so that is very exciting. I have realized that it is easy to make a bowl wide, but significantly harder to make the bowl very tall. I am excited for the upcoming projects!
